This policy explains what information I collect through rosannavisser.com and in the course of working with you, why I collect it, and what your rights are.
Who I am
I am Rosanna Visser, a sole trader based in Hampshire, UK, trading as Rosanna Visser. For any privacy questions, you can reach me at rosanna@rosannavisser.com.
What I collect
The enquiry form
When you send the enquiry form, I collect what you provide: your name, email address, which service you are interested in and your message. This is sent to me through Formspree, a third-party form service, and then to my email inbox.
The free Presence Check
When you complete the Presence Check, I collect your first name, email address, your answers and your scores. These are stored in my Google account (Google Sheets) and used to email you your results and guide from my Gmail account. If you tick the box to receive occasional presence tips, I will also email you from time to time, and you can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any of those emails or writing to rosanna@rosannavisser.com.
The Golden Thread newsletter
When you sign up to The Golden Thread, I collect your first name and email address. These are held by Kit, the email service I use to send the newsletter, and used only to send you The Golden Thread and the occasional note about my work. You confirm your subscription by clicking the link in the first email, every email includes an unsubscribe link, and Kit tells me in general terms whether emails are opened and links clicked.
When we work together
If you book a Digital Presence Review, Strategic Alignment or Strategic Partner engagement, I also hold the information needed to deliver it: your booking and payment details as processed by my booking and payment tools, notes from our calls, the public profiles and links you share with me, and the documents I write for you. I only review what is publicly visible or what you choose to share.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages and features they use, such as whether someone opens the Presence Check or sends an enquiry. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser, but it does not tell me who you are. Google Analytics only runs if you choose Accept on the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may process your IP address to deliver them, and the Presence Check stores a small note in your browser so that it does not keep inviting you once you have taken it.
Why I collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and help you choose the right service.
- To arrange, take payment for and deliver the service you book, including our calls and your written documents.
- To send you your Presence Check results and guide, and occasional tips if you asked for them.
- To send you The Golden Thread, if you signed up for it.
- To understand how the website is used, so I can improve it.
- To meet my legal and accounting obligations.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry and client information for as long as needed to deliver the service and meet any legal or accounting obligations, and delete it when it is no longer needed. Presence Check results are kept until you ask me to delete them or unsubscribe. Newsletter subscribers are kept on the list until they unsubscribe.
Who I share it with
I do not sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing. To run my business I use a small number of trusted services that process information on my behalf: Formspree for the enquiry form, Kit for The Golden Thread newsletter, Google for Sheets, Gmail, Analytics and Fonts, my booking and payment tools, and standard business software such as email and calendar. Some of these services may store information outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place.
Everything we discuss in our work together stays confidential, and I will only use your words or any part of your presence in my own marketing if you have given me your permission first.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access the personal information I hold about you, to ask me to correct or delete it, and to object to or limit how I use it. To do any of these, email rosanna@rosannavisser.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you have concerns about how your information is handled.
